VARIBELT*VX®  (Kevlar® Cord Belts)

Certain critical drives demands for the belt made up of Aramid or Kevlar Cord in place of the polyester cord. Aramid is an organic polyaramide fibre that is manufactured using complex chemical processes. It is generally used where the power transmission requirements are very critical, apart from space restrictions on the permissible installation and take up allowances.

 

Features:

•  The aramid fibre has the highest strength to weight ratio i.e. 2 to 3    times higher than other organic fibres

•  Lower elongation eliminates resetting / re-tensioning of the belts

•  High levels of tenacity and modulus

•  Reduced belt thickness and lower belt weight

•  Extreme non-flammability

•  Higher strength

•  Aramid Cord: 400000 (Tensile Strength), 4 (% Elongation at break)
